Is Building A Website Too Much Effort?
By now I hope that you realize that it’s of the utmost necessity to have your own website where you can send your potential readers so that they can know more about you and your book. This isn’t something that should be looked at as, “Yeah, maybe I’ll do that someday”, but something to get started with right now! You need to let people know who you are and why they should read your books. Once they’ve gotten to know you better, then they’ll want to hear from you regularly, which is why you want to set up an email auto-responder to stay in touch with them. You want people to take you seriously, and every serious marketer, which is what you will be if you are promoting your book, has their own website… or maybe multiple ones depending on their market.
Because remember, if you only send your readers to the link of your book in Amazon, you don’t get their email address, so you can’t stay in touch with them, and you can’t suggest that they buy your book as a gift for a friend, or to be on the lookout for your next book, or any other information that you would like to share with your faithful fans.
Consider the case of Wayne Stinnett, one of my personal favorite authors. He realized the need for a website, WayneStinnett.com, where he can share with his readers about upcoming books. Not only that, but he also has an online store where he sells merchandise relating to his books. These are his “Upsells” or “Bumpsells” that are part of the reason to have your own site. Because without your own site you would not be able to increase your sales in this way.
Now you have realized that you actually do need a website to kick your book promotion up into high gear, but maybe you are thinking that building a website is just something that you either don’t have the time or the knowledge to do right now. Then I have a few options for you. I realize that while BLUEHOST is one of the easiest and fasted methods for building a website available, not every one has the time to put in to designing a site. Or maybe the lack of technical skills is your problem. No problem. Here are a few solutions I think you will like.
So read below to choose your method of setting up your website to bring you more sales, and to provide your readers with extra benefits as well. It really becomes a win-win situation for you both.
My first suggestion would be to sign up with Builderall. This is a drag and drop website design program that will also automatically set you up with a program that collects your readers’ emails. Once you have their emails it gives you a chance to stay in touch with them on a regular basis. This gives you more chances to send them updates about your books, your journey as an author, whatever you want to send to them to keep them engaged.
- The Builderall Business Plan ($69.90 a month) – Builderall’s flagship plan, this Business package is the complete solution that will enable entrepreneurs and companies alike to launch and run a successful business. All websites built on this plan receive premium CDN hosting, unlimited eCommerce sales, an auto response email program and access to the Builderall affiliate program.
My second suggestion would be to sign up with ClickFunnels. Although similar to BuilderAll they provide even more features. It is also a drag and drop website and sales funnel designer, only it’s a level above BuilderAll. If you are looking for a way to step up your online business in a big way, then ClickFunnels is the package for you.
ClickFunnels also has 2 packages to choose from depending on the level of business that you will need to set up.
- Startup ($97 a month) – Access all the templates, the editor, and numerous other Clickfunnels features on this Startup plan. Subscribers can create up to 20 funnels, 100 landing pages, and receive up to 20,000 page views a month. You can also register or connect up to three domains.
- Etison Suite ($297 a month) – Users that sign up to the Etison Suite package gain access to Actionetics, Clickfunnels’ own email marketing service, and Backpack, Clickfunnels affiliate management program. On top of this, users can create an unlimited number of funnels and landing pages, as well as receive unlimited amounts of traffic and register as many domains as necessary.
My third suggestion would be to have your website completely done for you by Marcus Campbell, and his team. He can choose a killer domain name for you and build a 4 to 5 page website that will build up your Brand and tell people about your book. This is called a High Ticket Niche, and for him and his team to be able to make your website will require anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks depending on their work load. You would still need to sign up with an email auto-responder company like Aweber to be able to collect emails and send them updates. This leads us back to BuilderAll, which can add to your already made website by connecting it to its program for collecting the emails and sending out updates.
Whichever way you choose it will remove a lot of stress because you will not have to go through the process of learning web design and auto-responder setup.

ClickFunnels also has its own “Book Funnel” designed just for sales of books, so look for it after you sign up. (Or CLICK HERE to go straight to the CLICKFUNNELS signup page).
If you decided on the third suggestion, then CLICK HERE to research this done-for-you website design. Once you have your website completed throught the High Ticket Niche (which can take between 2 to 8 weeks) then come back here and CLICK HERE to go to an introduction to Builderall, or CLICK HERE to go to the introductory video of ClickFunnels. Either one will enhance the website that the High Ticket Niche team designs. Watch the videos and then sign up for your free trials of the programs that could literally increase your book promotion 10X! Then CLICK HERE to sign up with Aweber if you need an email auto-responder.
***PRO Tip*** Another thing to consider would be to provide an “Upsell” for those who have bought your book. This is where you offer a higher priced option related to your book. There are many options for creating an Upsell. Maybe you have a training program affiliated with your book, or you are a fitness instructor who can give one-on-one instructions to someone who needs more help after buying your book. If your book is about online marketing, then be willing to coach others in that area either with paid training videos or one-on-one consultation, etc. Online training is a booming field, so make use of it and provide value to your readers. Have you realized that after writing your own book that you are good at teaching others how to write a book? Then sell your services in that area as an Upsell to your book. Just use your imagination to find ways to bring in more income to you and provide more value to your audience. It’s a win-win for everyone. Both the BUILDERALL and the CLICKFUNNELS programs include simple ways to include Upsells into your sales funnel.
